This course will train students in basic phlebotomy, including the collection of blood specimens and venipunctures required to become a Phlebotomy technician. This phlebotomy course includes theory and hands-on instruction. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of achievement. Students also have an opportunity to take the Certified Phletobomy Technician exam through the American Medical Certification Association [AMCA].
