There are various ways in which you can make a direct, positive impact on our community. We, as a community, are dedicated to working together to offer women in distress a hand up, not a hand out! It is definitely a joint effort to sustain our programs and continue our work.

Volunteering has a meaningful, positive impact on the community and on you! Volunteering is the perfect vehicle to discover something you are really good at and develop a new skill. It is never too late to learn new skills and no reason why you should stop adding to your knowledge just because you are in employment or have finished education.
Volunteering is ultimately about helping others and having an impact on people’s well-being. What better way is there to connect with your community and give a little back? Volunteering reflects and supports a complete picture of you, and gives real examples of your commitment, dedication and interests.
Why Not Prosper Volunteers are involved in a wide-range of work that helps develop specialized skill sets. For example, planning a fundraising event can develop planning and budgeting skills; working with other volunteers and staff members helps to build teamwork skills; painting a mural, making banners, or helping residents with crafts could gently push you to discover graphics and art talents. If you have a talent or skill you want to put to use, or just have some free time, consider volunteering! Please know there is a spot for you!
